Cape Verdi - Flight times

Hi All

Just wondered if anyone knows the number of hours it takes to fly to and from Cape Verdi.

Looking at booking a holiday and the outward flight according to the tour company is 3hr 55min direct flight but the return is 7hrs 50mins also on a direct flight.

Any ideas why such a vast differance

I believe that the aircraft have to fly over to the Gambia to refuel for the return flight.

Are you sure those are flight durations as such, or have you worked them out from the departure/arrival times?

I really don't believe you can get there in 3hr 55 min - I think it's more like a 5hr50/55min flight time with (when BST is in operation) a 2 hour time difference.

Thanks for both your replies, I have been in touch with the travel agant and the outward flight is listed incorrectly it should be 7hr 50min

At least it's now cleared up.
