Can anyone give me any advice and information that would be useful for the preparation of a proposed trip to the Zone later on this year? Visitors personal experiences would be greatfully studied and appreciated

Thanks to jno for the reply-I have already been in contact with Elena Filatova who created that amazing site,but I was looking for more of a British view on exploring the area. There must be someone on here who has been there.
