We are looking to get away to the west country cornwall, dorset, devon, during half term in Feb.

Can anyone suggest a nice place to go? I have been to Port Isaac which was gorgeous... so somewhere similar that is on the coast, preferrably, has nice pubs, bit of history, things to do etc.

Thanks,
Cal

Hi Cal,

I live in Dorset and there are lots of lovely places. You should def come to Weymouth if you are looking for Victorian seaside hols, amusements, big sandy beach, awesome coastline etc.

It may be a bit blustery in Feb but lots to do.

Dorchester close by is lovely and is home to the amazing Maiden Castle http://www.maidencastle.com/
and Thomas Hardy.

Down the road a bit is Portland- a weird cooky little island with amazing cliff walks, views and ususual people. There are some that have lived all their lives, and have never left the island!

If you contact me nearer the time I can help with specifics if you need.
