Has anyone ever used the lounges at Manchester Airport. I was planning on getting some passes to them as a birthday present for a relative when we go on holiday. What do you get for your money and would you consider it worth it? Also are you free to leave the lounge to visit the shops? Any help appreciated

I used one of the business lounges once, a few years ago (paid for by my job). Apart from big comfy chairs, a supply of free newspapers and being separate from the riff-raff, there was nothing special about it.

You are free to come and go as you please, so long as you show your pass to the desk girl.
Hi, used the lounges in all 3 terminals. The big advantage is they are a lot quieter. You don't get the same choice of food. its mainly crisps and biscuits and you can make toast. Alcohol is available and hot drinks.
The best one was escape in terminal 2
