title of music

ive recently returned from turkey and whilst there enjoyed watching a traditional turkish dance. I would love to find the title of the music used to the dance. the dance involved dancing in a line and the first dancer would use a handerchief to symbolise something during the dance.. any ideas what the music used to this dance maybe. Bit sketchy i know, but im sure in not the only person to have seen the dance. Boo
