high price flight tickets

has anyone ever searched online for cheap flights using one of these ever popular comparison websites? i recently done this to find cheap flights to lanzarote from belfast and when i had input all the details, i got crazy prices like �2400. i bit expensive saying i got one at �200. does anyone know why these tickets are so expensive?

could be several reasons, maybe because of the routeing selected by the booking engine (via amsterdam, maybe?), or because the dates you want are very popular. you'll get the best deals to Lanzarote either with a charter operator (check http://www.belfastairport.com/en/ to see which carriers fly the route), or travel from Belfast via an airport that has budget flights to Lanzarote; you can check which airports have direct flights at

Teletext holidays isnt bad for the canaries.

Having said that none of the cheapo airlines fly to the canaries as far as Im aware
