.....the 'Erker', Liz Taylor, Los Cristianos and Tenerife?

I wonder if anyone can help me?
I have just come back from Tenerife and visited Los Cristianos.
About 20 years ago when I visted the island the first time (hadnt been back since then), there was a place on the beach (house/home?), I remember being told that the house was once owned by Liz Taylor who had it built but never visited.
Can anyone tell me if this is true please? I have found it on Google Earth and it is called 'Erker'.
