how does easyjet allocate boarding groups if you have no special requirments? it seems that sometimes i check in really early only to see people who checked in after me being allocated an earlier boarding group?

I recently flew with easyjet and you can pay for speedy boarding. It cost about 7.50 each way per person, and you took priority over everybody including those who needed assistance and those with children
Hi Polly

We flew in Feb with Easyjet and had speedy boarding. It's brilliant for not having to stand in the queue for hours but expect to get abuse from some disgruntled passengers who have queued for hours only to see you go straight to the desk! Happened to us.

:o)
Would definatly pay again for it, its worth it just to avoid the chaos in the queue behind
I've seen people with speedy boarding get put on the bus first... only to get off last and be no better off than if they hadn't paid the extra. Don't know if this is always a problem
The second priority is given to people who check in on line. You can only do this if you travel with hand luggage only.
