My wife and I are flying to Mexico. We both have valid passports, but hers is in her previous married name. Will our marriage license and her drivers license, along with her passport be adequate?

probably not , and there is no guarantee that you will even get through passport control in this country ,as you will have booked the tickets in the name of mr and mrs gottago ,but mrs bloggs is trying to board the plane ,even with all the extra id you mentioned, not likely, especially these days when airports are extra security minded , i watch too much tv and love programmes like airline and airport, she would either have to change the passport or the airline ticket ,and it would be cheaper to amend the passport - hope this helps
this happened to me many moons ago, we were advised to book the holiday in two seperate names, i.e. name on ticket must tally with passport.
It will be more expensive to change the ticket than change the passport which will be valid for 10 years, do it asap.
If going away straight after the wedding, the passport office will change beforehand with proof the wedding will take place.
