Genoa hotels

We are travelling to Genoa on Oct.27th to join a cruise(MSC.Melody Genoa to Durban if anyone else is booked on this one we'd love to hear from them!) and wondered if anyone had any advice on the best place to stay for easy access to the cruise terminal as there's a bus from the airport to Genoa city so we'd prefer a hotel near the cruise terminal than the airport thanks a lot Mrsann
