Selling baggage space

I heard that you can sell your checked baggage space to businesses for cheaper plane tickets. does anyone know if this is true or how to get in on this?? thanks.

Not heard it expressed this way before.

What is possible is that you can act as a courier for a company - you accompany a package (using the baggage allowance) and hand it over to their representative at the far end. In return they pay at least part of your air fare.

To get to do this you have to become known and trusted to a courier company - it's unlikely to be something you can do as a one off.
