just had a phone call from Thomas Cook shop to say my holiday cancellation paperwork is complete and their head office have approved full compensation for them cancelling my holiday with just 35 hours notice. What a relief, it has meant all the difference.
They have to stick to the terms and conditions of course, and can only pay me the amount as per their published terms and conditions on the back of all their brochures, but it's not the money that counts is it?
What shall i spend the 25 on? How many of you realised that if a tour company cancel your holiday that is all you get? No matter how close to the departure date.

if Ryanair cancel your flight, even after the departure time, you won't even get that much.
Hi Dotty so after all this time you've got .......25 how generous! They do exagerate
For the last few years with having access on internet I now do all my bookings through various sites and up to now have never been disappointed.
Hope you still have a good holiday with everybody in the group.
i think it is scandalous, they mess up and think that 25 is sufficient, i have contacted the lady at the Daily telegraph and hopefully she will kick some T Cook Butt!

I am going away with my daughter now, couldn't get away with the rest of them now, furious is what I am!
