Hello,

I am travelling to the Dominican Republic in a couple of weeks and would like to take my straightners of course!! and also ipod and phone chargers. Can anyone give me some links of some travel adapters I would need to take.

pretty sure they use the same type as USA, which is the 2 flat pins.
Type in Dominica, and travel plug on google, and you'll see loads of places to buy them.
If you go somewhere like Boots, they'll stock them, and it should say on the back of the plug which countries it can be used in.
Your biggest worry will be how warm your straightners actually get, as they'll be running on less power.
your phones will charge okay, might take a bit longer than normal.
If you're all-inclusive, it might be better to just use the hairdrier the hotel provide, and leave the tongs at home.
And lastly, check with your mobile network that your phone will work abroad - some don't.

yeah you need the 2 flat pin adapters they can be found in lots of places :)
