north coast is nicer
I have not been but I have heard there are some fantastic views.
Barbados is a very beautiful island and the people the same. We have stayed on the south coast of Barbados since 1989. We stay at the Amaryllis Hotel Beach Resort. very nice beach and walking distance to Bridgetown, if you want. St. Lawrence gap is only a bus hop away or you can walk the beach when the tide is out. The area is quiet but cental . We have stayed on the west coast but prefer the south.
Just lovely. You have to go to Oistins on a Friday night - Saturday isn't nearly so good. A No. 11 bus will take you there if you don't mind squeezing in.
