Off to Club Med in Maldives in 3 weeks for our honeymoon!!!!!!! Yey!!!! What do we do about currency? In guide book it mentions US dollars and only changing what you need as you cant change the rufiyaa back, any advice would be fab. TIA x

When we were there everything was charged to your room and we settled at the end on our credit card. However we did take somes US$ for tipping housekeeping / barmen etc.

Hi The currency we used in the Maldives was US dollars.
But you can charge drinks and meals to your room and pay by credit card when you leave.

The US dollars are just for tipping the bar staff and room staff.
Have a great time tha Maldives are brilliant!!
