2008 holiday in southern Ireland ?

Made my mind up I want to go to southern Ireland next year.Want to rent a cottage as near to the sea as possible and would like some ideas,ie,websites or reccomendations from people who have already been.

You could start with Irelandtourism.ie
Your query is unclear whether you mean the south part of Republic of Ireland or whether you refer to all of southern Ireland as some people also refer to when they mean the Republic.
Are you thinking of west coast, south, south-east, mid-west? It will mke it easier for your search.
Being near the sea could be the wilds of west Cork. It could also be the west coast of Clare, or it could be Connemara etc.
