Can anyone tell me how far Dublin Heuston train station is away from Dublin airport and the best/cheapest way of getting there?

The airport is a few miles north of the city, and Heuston Station is somewhere slap bang in the city centre ("An Lar"). My guesstimate is around 10 miles. Cheapest option would be bus, about 5 euros. Sorry I can't be more specific.

bus 748 runs to/from heuston station every 30mn. journey approx 45mn, though this makes little allowance for dublin traffic. fare is eur6.00.
