I am flying to egypt in March 07 and my passport expires in August 07, will I be able to fly?

It has to be valid for six months from the sate of travel so no, you will have to renew it before you go.

get it renewed now and have peace of mind, they will add the extra time on to the new passport and at present time passports are being returned in approx 7 days.
i have just come back from goa, india, after a months stay there, i only had four months left on it and i was ok, but to be safe ask you agent or pasport office, if they will add on the time left on your old pasport to your new one, as someone sayd, then its a bonus. be sure before you go and have a good time.
