obtaining a passport

im sending off for a passport and i was just wondering how long it would take to get it?

I got my daughter's first one at the end of January and it took about a week from the time I sent it off.

It's very dependedent on demand. Just now, probably one to two weeks. Get in quick before the annual rush starts

assuming it's been completed correctly then you should expect of your new passport within 10 days this time of year

we sent all the proof they asked for and twice they lost our sons photographs,so ours took a little bit longer,we had no problems with our own,they were pretty quick.
