Whats your opinion of its Economy class? Has anyone travelled to Dubai with them? How was it? They seem to be one of the most expensive airlines but is the experience worth it?

I can't say I have ever heard of any incentive to travel on Air France, and having done so years ago, remember nothing of note.

I'd fly emirates (600 media channels in your seat), or similar. or if needs be Chav-airways (BA)... but Air France... why?

if u fly air france,, it is known in the industy (by most people) as air chance, as u r not sure ur bag will make it,,, try to find another airline to fly with.....

why? Cos my sister works for them and can get me super-cheap tickets thats why.
well just because ur sister works for them does not guarantee u getting on the plane,,,

in paris they will nto give u a boarding card till at least 1hr b4 departure evan if flight is empty,,,

were does ur sister work? at the airport or call center??
on top of that if she can get u staff tickets then she can get for u on any airline....

oh dont be daft Dazf like I dont already know that, fool! Of course Im gonna get on a plane eventually, and its none of your business what she does for the company so sod off. Pure jealousy Dazf! oh and by the way ignorance too since she cannot get me tickets for any airline. Duh...
I hope you have a trip as horrible as the messages you are posting, in response to help given by others. I expect that with your attitude, you will.

Thanks Jonno, dazf wasnt being helpful, just patronising, and I dont appreciate that. My attitude is super-thank you ;-) Lets see...who else wants to stick their nose in business between me and Dazf?
As a seasoned traveller let me say Air France is a good European airline now merged with KLM. Maybe not up to oriental standard but certainly among the decent bunch.Your only concern is industrial action, but that seems to have diminished now. Anyway BA can cause problems, look at recent events and the Gate gourmet fiasco.Emirates are the best airline out of B-HAM but how many people realise on their afternoon flight Boeing 777 there are 10 seats across in cattle class as opposed to the industry norm of 9. Hope all goes well, you would have to be unlucky for it not to.

dazf my most honourable friend...if you dont know what you are talking about its best not to stick your nose in my business...my sister works directly for the company at charles de gaulle airport and not Heathrow duh!
Air France are AMAZING!!

I have not flown to Dubai with them but i did fly to Mexico, economy and i was really pleased with the service!! Each seat was fitted with a personal television and games player with a good selection of entertainment. The food was nice, hot and you had a good choice. There were snacks and free drinks available CONTSTANTLEY throughout the whole flight and this included Wine!! Had to put up with a few snooty french on the plane, but generally i give it the Thumbs up!! leg roo godd too!!
