I am looking for a nice B&B or Guest House in Edinburgh. It must be within walking distance of the city, clean be reasonably cheap. Can anybody help?!

I used to stop overnight for work in Edinburgh and used about 3 different B&B's in Pilrig Street. All were brilliant and had a good breakfast. Can't remember the cost (it was about 7 years ago), but there were loads of other B&B's on this street, so if you look one up (in Yellow Pages) and find it is in Pilrig Street, you should be OK.

Loads of places on Newington Road and Minto Street (that'd be the A701). Before I lived in Edinburgh I'd stay at the Ben Doran and that was nice enough. Still, with B&Bs in Edinburgh being what they are, especially during the festival you're better off in one of the major hotels (same-ish price), or a summer sub-let from one of the thousands of flats that become available over the summer.
