ok,,

u need to look at airport web site.

but this is the jist of it all.....
medication is ok,
liquids in bottles of 100ml is ok and u can have a max of 10 bottles like this and these can be in your hand luggage.
same with any electrical items...

it is always recomended to put all medication in hand luggage as the airline is not responsable if u need to get some more, due to bag being misplaced.. same with any important and valuble items..

hope this helps

cheers my dears
The hand baggage restrictions are now the same for all EU airports:

If your hair straighteners are the gas-powered type (e.g. Braun), you should be aware that the gas cartridges are not allowed anywhere on board the plane, either in the cabin or in the hold.

Hi Chris

my straightenrs are electric so should be ok by what your saying. Thank you for your time in getting me the website address will look at it at a more normal time of day to digest properly.

Many Thanks

I went through Gatwick lat Sat- big hassle allow extra time.
Hairdryer & straightner definately in luggage, no where else they will either makeyou transfer to suitcase or confiscate --- your choice.
Medication in hand luggage [ case could get lost] in clear plastic bag and your repeat prescription with it as proof it is yours or letter from the GP, they did not actually ask for the proof but the airline did warn us a few days beforehand so be prepared[ scouts motto].
Liquide etc ie shampoos best put in suitcase, wrap sellotape around opening to avoid leakage & wrap in a plastic bag.You are only allowed liquids in 100ml bottles not one mil over, so easier to pack in case.
Enjoy your holiday , after getting through airport security you will deserve one.
