Ski wear...
Can anyone recommend some 'must have clothing' for going skiing? Im going to work in Valmeinier in December for six months and I have no idea what to take! If anyone knows of any websites thatwould be useful I would much appreciate it. Thankyou. x

I would suggest :
Thermal underwear; Peter Storm at Millets does a range of long-johns and vests in a variety of colours and sizes.
A waterproof ski jacket,salapettes (high waisted trousers, waterproof, usually with braces) and gloves; I would recommend TK Maxx for bargain ski-wear.
A hat.
Sturdy sunglasses.
Waterproof and lined boots.
Aim to take lots of thin layers as they are warmer than 1 thick 1.
I'm being practical here rather than fashion conscious so please use as a guide and add your own spin.
