Hi All
My bf has got an idea in his head that we should rent a log cabin in Scotland for a few days over the winter, ideally near a ski resort (not that either of us can ski!) Can anyone recommend any such places? I'm guessing it would be cheaper if more than 2 of us went?
Is skiing in Scotland ok for beginners?
Grateful for any advice!
thanks

Try Aviemore or Fort William. They both have log cabins and also near ski resorts. Perfect for beginners also.
Good Luck.
Try Portnellan Lodges near Crianlarich. Wonderful lodges in super setting and not far from Glen Coe where there is a ski lift. Lodges are a bit pricey but couldn't fault them. You can also borrow bikes and use them on the forest trails.
Good luck
