where is the best place to exchange my money into euros who would give me the best exchange rate, havent got a great deal of time to shop around cheers in advance.

the post office are pretty good - but to be honest, you'd be hard pressed to beat getting them from an ATM with a debit card.

Agreed. Wait until you arrive and go to the nearest ATM. The exchange rate is normally better and if you have a Nationwide account like myself there are no hidden charges like commission.

We always use Intercash, I know they have branches in Chichester, Portsmouth and Arundel, but I don't know about the rest of the country. Have also found the Post Office pretty competitive and my mum and dad always get their currency from Marks and Spencer.
