I am a bit confused about this 16-17 card which allows you to get free travel. I am in full time education but going to be 18 next week. Will I have to fill out the 16-17 form of the 18+?

I have asked at college they aren't any wiser. They 16-17 form seems to imply that if you're in full time education it should be ok.

Any help would be useful.

You would have to fill out the 18+ form, as by the time your 16-17 Oyster Card gets to you it would be out of date.

The 18+ card has very limated benifits as you only get 30% of a adult rate. This is very annoying as the same will be happening to me in November. Personally I think that they should make it free for everyone in full time education, but anyway.

Getting back to the question you would need to fill out the 18+ form
Just to add to what Tim20054 said, my son had to get his 18+ application form stamped and signed by his College to prove that he was a student there.
