a mid-sized sedan should do you (Nissan Pulsar or equivalent) - nominally a 5 seater - and you should be able to get one from AUS350.00, depending on date.

Agree with mushroom. When I have been out there have always used Eurocar. Found them very good. Go on internet see if they have a depot in Cairns. They have one in Surfers Paradise Queensland Rgds Al
