i would like to stay at a holiday resort with lots of sport/leisure facilities e.g. tennis,horse riding,boat fishing etc.Can anyone point me in the direction of a specialist holiday provider?

Center Parcs (assuming you mean in the UK?) - shove it into a search engine for more info/location of the nearest center parc

The best would have to be Le Sport in St Lucia. Watersports, tennis, golf, massages, manicures...very expensive but all inclusive so you can go wild. If you want something more reasonable contact Mark Warner holidays.
