has anyone been to calabria in south italy?
we are due to go there for a family holiday in august, its all booked but we have just found a few reviews that have put doubts in our mind as to we have picked the correct place? really would be great to hear from anyone who has been!

I have never been there, but Southern Italy will be VERY HOT in August.

Probably between 80 degrees and 90 degrees.

Too hot to do anything. Most Italians take holiday for all of August, it is that hot.
