No. Not if it's a UK passport.


Some places require you to have 6 months left, but within the EU won't matter (theoretically you don't even need a passport, but don't try this)

hmm, just read that article. It's American, so may be innaccurate.

You need a valid national identity document proving you are a citizen of an EU country,


In the UK the only nationality document available is a passport, so that's what you need.


...and valid means that the passport must not have an expiration date before the date of your return.
