I have been trying to get online quotes for the above crossing in August and find it nigh on impossible to get a quote if travelling with cycle. (it seems you have to phone up) I managed to get an online quote from LD ferries 60 return for two with seats in August but they go to Le Havre.
Anyone got any advice ?

I had not the slightest problem getting a quote on the Britanny Ferries web site.

The bottom line in the vehicle box is Bicycle - easy to miss but it's there. You have to book each bicycle passenger separately - that's the only catch I can see

As dzug says try Brittany Ferries - I travel that route as a foot passenger a lot and always see people getting on with bikes. LD Lines is essentially a Freight carrier not really a passenger one.
