We haven't been yet but everyone we speak to who has been there say it is totally fantastic. Because of all the good reports we are planning a trip when the weather gets better.
I've been and can recommend it highly. It's a really fun day out, but be prepared to do a lot of walking. The car parks are massive, and even once you've made it to the ticket office you've still got to zig zag down numerous ramps to get to the biospheres. It's worth every step though, you get to see many many plants that wouldn't normally grow in our climate. A word of warning though, try not to go on a blazing hot summers day. The biospehres get more and more humid the higher up you go and it gets quite hard to breathe. Did you know that they filmed parts of the Ice Palace scenes from Die Another Day inside one of the biospheres? Another good reason to go!
I wasn't sure about going, but once I got there it was incredible. There's more than just the biomes, they have gardens and exhibitions on the development of the site. I would recommend that you wear good walking shoes and something cool, as it's sweltering in the tropical biome. You could try going to their website http://www.edenproject.com/

once again thanks to Cathy for another answer to my questions
My pleasure. Thank you for the stars.
Very worthwhile! However, we went in the middle of winter and it was packed! God knows how busy it'll be in summer months - enjoy anyway! ps There's a couple of excellent books in the visitors shop which tell the story of how it all came together - worth every penny!
