Does anyone know any nice hotels in San Juan (Puerto Rico)? Something really nice near the beach.

San Juan can be a bit dodgy and most of the hotels are in a fenced off area with gates. Further afield, the Westin Rio Mar Beach Resort on the other coast is great.

Why don't you go to www.tripadvisor.com and see what hotels get the best reviews? Personally I stayed at El Convento in San Juan and it was just fantastic!
