Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows the password for the Eurostar 2 for 1 offer in the telegraph on Saturday 25th Feb 2006? If you know todays (mon) and tomorrow's that will be great too! Currently living on the continent so can't buy paper - offer is so others can visit me!

(Sundays was SECRET btw)

Thanks!

I had a sneaky peak in Sainsburys on Saturday. The password was DISCOVERY.

Today's (Monday) is SURPRISE.

Thank-you ripefig - though I have realised a problem. Being of the same vein and too pikey to buy the telegraph I have forgotten about the fact these offers come with telephone numbers and booking forms!

Does anyone know the format of this offer, ie is a form required or is it just a number I can acquire by stealth through the wonderful answerbank!

When do the passwords stop being issued? Is there a particular day with the booking details?

Thanks you wonderful people!

Hi monoclinic,

you don't need the phone number to book, once you have your four passwords you can book your offer online at www.eurostar.com/telegraph

booking has to be done between 28 Feb and 28 March

The passwords run until Wednesday I think, but you only need four in total. Thankfully we get papers at work during the week so I'll hopefully manage the whole thing without having to fork out my hard earned cash on that right-wing scree.

I'll try and remember to post it up tomorrow!

Tuesday's is Intrigue. I'm not certain if you'll be able to get the cheap deals if you live outside the UK, though.

Its for my parents to visit - they are currently on holiday so can't buy the torygraph themselves.

Thanks everyone for the passwords!

Hi

try SURPRISE not special

thanks.
Having problem with web site but that seems to it being overloaded

Hi,

I am trying to book up online via the Daily Telgraph but I only ever get to tick the terms and conditions box without being able to get through any further.

Has anyone actually booked up and can you post the link if you have.

Many thanks...Gracust

it opened at 9am today so will no doubt be overloaded for a while. By the time you get through the Paris weekends will have gone... Remember a ticket will take you anywhere in Belgium, not just Brussels (Antwerp, Ghent etc)
Question Author

I had a wee peek trying several different days weekend and week days in different months - it didn't actually seem that cheap (160 for Brussels).

They probably only have 2 seats on a very few select number of trains. I feel a carrot is dangling above my head...

dunno Monoclinic, but I went on one of these promotions before Christmas and had no trouble getting two tickets to Brussels midweek.

who booked the two seats for paris? i wanted them, i'm gonna sulk now. of course it's a con of sorts. the telegraph get increased sales,(if you don't use AB) and eurostar get people booking who think they will only be charged the promotional rate.

i've tried loads of combinations and still can't get cheapies for paris! sod it i think i'll go to margate instead, never did like the froggies anyway.

did anyone manage to get the bargain & what day /time were they?(4am wed/ 11pmthurs?)

mybe i'm just cynical

Saturday 25th was Discovery. Today's (3rd march) is connection. Do you have any more for this week?

Just received this from Eurostar:

"As one of our favourite travellers, we don't want you to miss out.
So here's one password for free:

Adventure

Hi guys ....

Previous passwords are: Memory & experience. However, all isn't as it seems as the D.T saving is only 1 per booking (yep, 1) as going onto the Eurostar site proper <http://www.eurostar.com/dynamic/_SvBoExpressBookingTerm? _TMS=1141417387388&_DLG=SvBoExpressBookingTerm&_ LANG=UK&_AGENCY=ESTAR? a return trip can be had fron 59.

Not such a good deal, eh ???? But a lot of newspapers sold, none the less !
... Also guys,

It's 58/59 per pair of tickets to Paris ... and another 59 to return !!!!!
hey that's what I have got

pw Sat, 4 march: "Encounter"

Sun, 5 March: Culture

Tuesday 7 March ESCAPE !

Dicovery,
