I'm going to Antibes on the Cote D'Azur in the Spring, and just wondering if anyone has recommendations for things to do/see....good beaches, restaurants, bars, that kind of thing?

Thanks in advance.

Took a holiday in the south of France few yrs ago and stayed in Antibes for a night. Sorry can't remember the name of the restaurant we ate at, but if you follow the tall wall opposite the marina, there was an archway (stalls outside it selling bric a brac and artwork) which led to a pedestrianised street full of shops, pubs and restaurants, about half way up on the right there was a restaurant that served fantastic sea bass.

With regards to what to do, there is a great train service along the coast, definatley get the train to Monaco. Visit Cannes and Nice. If you go to a place called Saint Raphael, a few streets back from the main one (along the beach), there was a fantastic little restaurant called The Bishop.

Sorry I can't give you more details but it was a few yrs ago that I went there, but would love to go back to that area of France again. Have a great time.

Tip- we noticed in places like Cannes, along the main street runnuing parallel to the beach if you go for a drink you wiill pay more if you sit outside the bar, than if you sat inside!

Cheers, swamp duck! I'll definitely go look for that restaurant.
Head out to the Cap and have a walk about out there. That's where all the rich people stay and its beautiful. Also there is really nice restaurant at one side right on beach.
