We were due to fly with them on the 11th July to Malaga, it’s impossible to get through to to them by all means of communication, I’ve rang my credit card company and after 56 minutes I spoke to a foreign lady who I’m sorry to say I couldn’t understand , I managed to pick up for me to go online and fill out a form, done this and I see many options but not a one covering what I need
I’m with M&S

Unless their Ts&Css require you to check in within a limited time window that closes well before the departure date then they can't penalise you for hanging on until nearer the time. I'm not sure there's any harm though in checking in- if they cancel you'll get a voucher or your money back eventually; if you cancel instead I assume you'll lose some of what you've...

What is it you are wanting to discuss with Ryanair, presumably something regarding payment or else a refund ? If it is the latter then only if your upcoming flight has been cancelled is there anything to discuss with your card provider, and then only if you have already completed the claim application with Ryanair and given them reasonable time to react. Any standard form at the card provider's site will almost certainly be structured in a way to fit that. That said, I am still waiting for Ryanair to refund for a cancelled flight according to their commitment nearly two months ago.

Hi Karl thanks for the heads up, the FO say don’t travel if it’s none essential and it isn’t , but I thought I might have had some communications from RA before now, I’m putting feelers out only what will happen with my flight as Mr O’ Leary is adamant he’ll have planes flying very soon
Have they actually cancelled your flight yet bobbi? I'm not sure it's easy to get a refund unless the airline cancels and Michael whatsisface was on radio only this morning saying he expected lots of Ryanair flights to Europe would be taking off from start of July. Otherwise I thought you had to make a claim via travel insurance if it was your choice.

No not as yet Prudie, I really wanted to ask how I stood with my CC company and it’s as clear as mud right now but as you say, I’ll have to wait till the flights actually cancelled but it’s just another months time
O'Leary was on Good Morning Britain, (this morning.) he was asked if he was retuning monies to people who had requested, his answer was yes. The problem is, that they have had over 30 million requests, but due to staff shortages all over his offices, and all the implications of such an operation they have to date only managed to process about 9 million. So if he his telling the truth,? you've got a long wait.
If the FCO advice remains as it is and you choose not to travel you will be able to claim via travel insurance if the flight is not cancelled.

Toorak I cancelled my TI as I’d only took it out March 11th this year ( annual) as I knew I wouldn’t be using it , I got a refund back pro rata

Should I check in?
Because as TC says it’ll take a long time but if I don’t check in that means I haven’t turned up for the flight doesn’t it?
they may well be flying by July

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2020/may/12/ryanair-flights-resume-coronavirus-rules-july

In that case it depends what government advice is when the time comes to fly
Question Author
Jno, He says he’ll have planes in the air what I’d like to know is !should I check in online ?
it is of course completely possible that the FCO advice changes in the next 5 weeks AND that Ryanair will be flying on that date.
can you check in 5 weeks in advance??
do you want to go or to cancel?
Question Author
In that case we are right in the doodoo as my daughter cancelled the villa we were renting as she was shielding my 79 yr old husband who’s a diabetic and Spain had a higher than us death rate at the time
Question Author
Yes I can check in and Yes I wish to cancel the flight
you might be able to re-rent the villa. I doubt it would have been snapped up
if you are not going to go on the flight, then don't check in (?!) Am I missing something here?
Question Author
I don’t think any of us want to fly right now bednobs
Question Author
Okay, I don’t check in, this means I’m not turning up for the flight? Therefore can’t get a refund?
