Checking A Child On A Flight

I'm taking my 7 year old granddaughter to Southampton to visit my daughter. We are flying with Flybe.

When I booked the flight this evening, my iPad got her name wrong by, one letter. I see on their website that children don't have to have ID and as long as I have ID then, that's fine when checking in.

Do you think I should contact Flybe tomorrow and tell them about the anomaly in the name?

Yes.
If they have 24 hour customer service I'd do it now.
I would just turn up and if they say anything just pretend you did not notice.
If in doubt, ring them. Unless someone on here is a Flybe Rep answering the question then the answer has to be yes, call them.
That's the last thing I would do Eddie. Have you been through an airport recently? They might not notice, but if they do you could be denied the flight.
Your paperwork has to match, no matter how old you are.
Now I'd made Eddie's answer look wrong. Sorry Eddie. Just my advice, that's all.

Thanks guys. I'll ring them. Blooming, autocorrect.
Good idea Chrissa :)
Cost of a phone call VS the cost of a new ticket.
^ Nobody will need a new ticket
They might if they get turned away at the airport 237SJ

I'm not taking any chances. I'll ring. Thanks all.
Quiz - they won`t
Question Author
They might charge me for the change, at the airport.
Whether they will or won't Chrissa, at the end of the day ringing them is the best way to get peace of mind and then you can fully enjoy your trip
Question Author
I'll let you know what they say when I ask the question about whether I was right to ring them or, not.
Most companies when booking travel have a same day refund policy. Contact asap is advisable within 24 hours to recitfy an error.
I just travelled with my first name under its shortened version on my ticket rather than my passport name. It was fine.
Question Author
Just called Flybe, and changed the error on my booking with no problem. The chap I spoke to said that it Would, have been picked up at check-in and I did the right thing.

All sorted.
Good. Now enjoy :-)
