hi,,, i have never flown with us airways but the general rule is upto 2hrs no meal or u pay for snack, upto 4hrs u get a cold meal or sandwich and over 4 hrs u get a hot meal, as MAN-PHL is more than 4hrs u should get 1 hot meal and at least 1 drink with meal free, any other's some airlines do charge...
Have used quite a few different airlines between UK and East Coast USA. All provide meals and drinks with the meals FOC, but other drinks have to be paid for.
yes. but american airlines (generic term - not any particular airline) are generally stingy with alcoholic drinks so take note.
I've flown long haul with KLM , Air Canada , American Airlines.
With all three drinks, snacks and food were provided. Not really free as you pay for them in the ticket price.
None of them stingy with anounts at all, but had to have single measures of spirits -presumably to help cut down on drunks.
Also on a 45 minute flight in US I had a free drink and bag of pretzels.
Air France gave coffee and a sandwich on a Birmingham to Paris flight
Holiday charter and no frills flights never have free food and drink.
