She must have quite a temper, not very often that a mother of 3 is jailed for that length of time, probably had previous.

True.
Zacs, the link states Love was previously convicted and yet in mitigation the Defence barrister claimed she hadn't any previous convictions.

Confused!
The article clearly states NO previous convictions.

I just think it's a shame for Butlins.
It does Sir O, but also that she was previously convicted of wounding with intent?

Rough lot dahn sarf ain't they?
"I was left in the theatre covered in blood with one of my children next to me as I screamed out in shock and pain.

The NHS just keeps get worse.

6 years is unusually long.
she was convicted of the assault previous to being sentenced for the same charge
Pixie, that was my point. I can only imagine that the use of the word 'previously' is ambiguous and that there may have been a second hearing for sentencing?

Anyway,as Zacs says, a shame for Butlins' reputation.
// Tina Love, from Dartford in Kent, has been sentenced to six years after previously being convicted of wounding with intent at Chichester Crown Court. //

Good. She's obviously a violent thug judging by the previous form. The public will be safe from her for a couple of years.
no previous form..see my post above
Minty is right. It's just badly written.
Thank you Minty.
// no previous form..see my post above //

Ok, I see. Let's just say she's obviously a violent thug judging by the fact she bit someone's nose off then.
Still a good result.
:o)
yes, I think she'd been convicted and was now up for sentence. I don't think you can really blame Butlins, though, it might just as easily have happened at the Royal Opera House.
And just when Butlins was reinventing itself.

Didn't that happen more predominantly in the 90s?

I feel very sorry for the unfortunate prisoner(s)who will have to share a cell with this nose biter.
Don't see them getting much sleep.
