Im planning on getting married in Bali next September and Im wondering what I have to take with me. I have been told that I need to take 6 passport photos of me and my fiance but has anyone else married abroad and have you got any advice? As it will only be my partner and I going, will witnesses be supplied for us etc? Thanks for any advice x

Ooh, that sounds nice! I'd quite like to get married in Bali too...oh, one snag though. Don't have a fiance.

Sorry for the completely pointless post!

Thats ok georgit, any reply is better than no reply! Have emailed the place we're going to in Bali and asked them to let me know all I need to know so should work out ok x
If it is an organised wedding with your travel company witnesses will be provided, usually people from the hotel or associated with the wedding company/church. However you can have your own, so if you wish to make to frinds out there first you could ask them to witness. not sure what you like from your holidays but chose the resort carfefully, Bali varies greatly between resorts, from quiet to very lively. If you want to be a little more out of the way go to Ubud or even further north. Have fun!
