There is no charge unless you get caught out by one of those dodgy sites. You haven't paid anyone anything , have you?

Daisy, there is NO charge for an EHIC card, either on 1st application, as I'm now onto my 3rd EHIC card. Please ALWAYS use this site..

Never, never PAY for an EHIC card, the people charging are scamming you and deserve to be prosecuted.

Make sure you use the Link Sandy has given you. They are supplied free, some Companies con you into paying to let them fill in the forms for you.

I lost ours (whoops) and only had to give my details for them all to be renewed. Excellent service.

ps always use the NHS Business Services Authority for EHIC, as they actually issue the cards for all the entitled people.
