Hi everyone. If money and travel was not an issue, how, and where would you spend your day?

For myself, I think that I would have breakfast withn my family on the Island of Santorini looking out onto the caldera. For Lunch, it would be a picnic at Ankor Wat where we could explore the vast temple complex, then it would be a quick skip over to Jordan to visit Petra, then to Iran and visit the palace of Persepolis, and finish the evening off with dinner looking out at the Flavian Theatre in Rome.

Thanks in advance.

Obviously you like old ruins Spoonboy. That being so you could join me (an old ruin), I would start my day at Machu Pinchu for breakfast then a trip across to Venice for lunch, dinner at Raffles Hotel in Singapore *not quite ruinous but nice, drinks in Egypt's Valley of the Kings then later a small supper party in Pompeii.

ill join you for breakfast in santorini :O
I'd start my day having breakfast and a Mythos in Zakynthos, and probably stick around there enjoying the sunshine, sailing and swimming along with a few cocktails. Oh, and stay around all evening, too, enjoying the food and atmosphere. In a nutshell I could spend all summer there!

And why not, confused. If it were so anne, I'd make it a breakfast date. You are probably already aware that the capital Thera, was also what the island was called (or known as) by the ancient civilisations.

i'm going to Zakynthos for two weeks all-inclusive hols in august

Sun, sea, sun and surf: nice, excel. My last holiday was in 2004 in Eastbourne, with a day trip to France.
Mauna Kea, Hawaii.
Beach and surf by day, volcano at sunset and the observatory by night. Bliss.
Would love to visit Spingalonga.

now that IS paradise

room for one more, Mojo?
You got it Excel. Bring the Foo fighters dvds and cds please.
Oops. Did I just mix you up with Erin Excel? Sorry :)
I enjoy going to the park with a good book, my mp 3 player and a lounging chair. I do this regularly in the summer time, and spend the whole day out and return home at night. I do live opposite a huge park.
You can do that any time though Society. Think big.
Jo-Jo, I know but I like keeping it real. :)

What do you read Society?

By the way Daisy. What or where is Spingalonga?
OK...So what Society is asking for is his favourite spot in his favourite park on a day with his favourite weather going down.
At his disposal will be some ass-kicking books and the contents of the BBC music vaults and youtube.
He will be comfortably ensconced in a hover-lounger.
I'm paying ;)
I read anything and everything, no favourite author though. I have so many books, books in every room everywhere in my home.
You got it Jo-Jo! :) And I'm a 'she'. lol
Second Oops!
I'm good at those. Sorry Society. You still get the hover lounger.
