Can anyone recommend a good, safe site to book an apartment in Paris for my partner's 50th? Have checked some sites, but most of the reviews sound as if they have been written by the owners or their friends!
Or, can any one recommend an apartment?

Have you tried VRBO? We've used it for New York City, Naples (Florida) and San Diego. Why not Paris?
