We are going on an all inclusive Nile Cruise in December, all drinks, food and trips are included. Will we need any Egyptian money at all and, if we do need money, will they take euros or sterling? Thank you

I'd get some, generally from an ATM out there. What about gifts and other items not included in the all inclusive categories?
Get it from the hole in the wall in the towns where you stop (or at the airport when you arrive). You'll surely need a few souvenirs, or a drink or snack when you are out on the trips?
If you are going to the Valley of the Kings Doris I would take some with you, we went & it included a trip to some shops / Perfume Factory / & Pottery places. If you do intend to go into the Tombs just watch the local Guides, they are all on the money money trips ( Begging)
In the aswan - Luxor area most of the tourist traps accept euros, sterling or dollars, but as others have said local money will give you mor flexibility.
It will also be quite filthy dirty and is a commonplace way of getting the old pharaoh's revenge, so some hand disinfectant wipes or gel might be useful.
Quite a few bad cases of delhi belly happen on the cruise ships, so extra precautions about what you eat and drink, plus a few rehydration sachets, might some in.
If you get a bad case, the local pharmacies sell entocide (pronounced 'entoseed') which is what they use, but is not licensed in the EU.
Just another tip Doris, when the boat docks up for the night do not be tempted to look out of your window bear @rsed?? the have a system of moving side by side by side during the night, in other words when you have docked & look out of your window all you may see is the Nile, but the following morning you could be looking into someone else's window.
If you want to take some money for tips when you get there, US dollars are most acceptable.
When I did the Luxor Aswan cruise a bank representative came on board whenever we docked to change money. That was a while back though, and we had travellers cheques. Do they still exist? I don't know.
