Your Open Question: How to neutralise or dispose of chemicals?

Thisis a acid used to strip paint off alloy wheels. When the acid looses its strength it is full of paint chipping like a sloppy porrage. (Yet to figure out how to remove the paint chippings during the process to see if the acid keeps its stripping strength for longer)
But the main question is can we neutralise it after use to dispose of cheeply or how could we dispose of cheeply. Chemical disposal companys charge over £100 per barrel and at over £300 to buy in the first place its an expensive overhead! Yet we cant find a way to strip all the paint off a alloy wheel in a 20minute time scale. Any ideas would be welcome :) thanks for reading.

So you want to know a way to strip all the paint off alloy wheel 'cheeply' in a 20 minute time scale.
Why does have to be in 20 minutes?
you are doing what all refurb companies do, if there is an alternative i have never come across it.
Contact you local environment dep, they will give you the correct info you require Ayoung.
The fact that it contains hydrofluoric acid rings big alarm bells! HF will go through glass, which is why it kept in plastic bottles. I work as a chemistry technician and and anything other than proper disposal by an accredited company would not only be shear lunacy, but also highly illegal. Don't even think about trying to neutralise it!
