anyone advise on couple of things, that is of course if you went to the main games. We have tickets to an event, next week. On website says only soft sided bags can be taken in, as long as they can be stowed under the seat, can that be small, medium bag or backpack. aware you can't take in your own water, but how big an empty water bottle can you take in, it says 100m which doesn't seem very big. Any advice would be really welcome.

anyone? don't want to go only to find got the wrong things, bags too large and so on.
Any bag equivalent to a regular daypack will be fine. we went to velodrome and the seats were regular stadium seats with room underneath and between one's feet. security is efficient but not officious - just use your 'common'.

ditto water bottles. a stubby 700 or 1litre would be fine. supermarket 1.5 or 2 litre would be ott - there are loads of filling stations all over the park with little or no queueing.

have a great time.

thank you so much, an empty water bottles i take it, as that is what the website says, but you can fill them in the park?
Seems daft to ask but can you take a camera. As read something on the site about it, but forget what. Did you enjoy it all...
We went to the Excel, missus took a shoulder bag which goes through an airport style X-ray machine, we didn't bother taking drinks as we had lunch and drinks when we got inside (kerchiiiiing).

We didn't take a camera as we all have them on our phones but plenty of people did and there were no problems.

Enjoy
