Alternative to a hotel in Birmingham?

Anyone know of anywhere that alows short stays (couple of nights) in an apartment that isn't mega expensive? Looking to go to Birmingham for a few days with the man soon, and as we don't live together thought it'd be nice to have our own space (but most places are min £100 per night and we are on a budget). Long shot but thought I would ask!

What you want is an ApartHotel - you rent a self contained apartment for a number of nights. Google it and there are several to choose from in Brum.
