Guest houses in York that will take groups of lads (40yrs plus)

Looks like Travelodge , but it's a pain group booking as they you have to pay up full on booking .

not a lot of guest houses have that many rooms, they are usually smaller establishments. How about Premier Inn if there is one nearby. I didn't pay for room until we arrived on check in.

Maybe Traelodge , Premier Inn was more expensive .... Thanks anyway.

Contact the tourist information office in York, they will have details of all the hotels and guest houses in the area and may well be able to help you.

Depending on how fussy you are the rest of the group are you could book out a couple of rooms in a youth hostel. You'd all be sharing the rooms but they aren't going to be fussy about the type of guest they have and it will be cheap
