The vast majority of 'rioters' seem to be nothing more than 'opportunist looters'. The Olympic Stadium (and the rest of the Olympic Village) doesn't offer the same temptations as, say, a branch of PC World. The chances of the Olympic site being attacked at present are effectively nil.
The actual Games are many months away and history (e.g. the events of 1981) shows that riots tend to 'burn out' very quickly. While international terrorism does present a genuine threat to the Olympic Games, handfuls of disorganised rioters most definitely do not.
