I've got the train a few times to Gatwick from Clapham Junction and it's fairly easy. There's no bus journey or anything involved (that I remember! I'm usually pretty sleepy..). Just go up the escalators and you're at the South Terminal. Think there's some sort of train thing that goes between the two terminals.

the transit runs from both terminals 24/7
and free , so anyone who sells tickets is a
scammer ..enjoy your holiday .
